The aim of the blog is to
offer web and tech tips to non-profits as well as provide updates on the operations of Buoya!
Having studied economics and various aspects of globalization - I have developed a deep appreciation for the non-profit sector and its ability to progress humanity. So I will be giving back to it as much as I can in the form of this blog and my service, Buoya.org.
For those unfamiliar with Buoya! - I primarily design websites using abundant and free tools now available on the internet. Many non-profits are run by volunteers and/or are kept very busy and have little time or expertise to take advantage of the internet. Sometimes those running a nonprofit don't realize exactly how much they can do with very little time and money - and Buoya! is here to introduce those possibilities to the uninitiated.
